@Zerodin

You misunderstood Bangadoshish's statement.

If you were given the choice, would you rather get cancer for free or have to pay in order to get it? Getting raped and then having to pay for it is worse than getting raped randomly.

"The money really goes to pay people (regular ones, just like you and I) that work to create the hands-down easiest, most seamless, integrated, and arguably best online gaming experience available."

What a load of BS. So you're telling me that people should still pay for the development costs of XBL even though it launched, 6 years ago, in 2002? Did it really cost that much that MS is charging people for a service that should have been for free in the first place? <...

@Bladestar

Ask yourself this and try to answer it as honestly as you can: Where does your $50 go to? Voice chats? Is that it?

The least MS could do is put up dedicated servers but they don't even bother doing this. $50 a year isn't much especially if it improves and maintains the service that you are using. However, this isn't the case with the XBL. Whenever I spend my own money, I always make sure that I know exactly where it goes. I don't want to throw my own m...

Should have been "they have a really deep accent".

As long as they don't do voice-overs in their games then I don't mind. No offense but they have a really deep accent which is hard to understand.

Edited for narindp's convenience.

Belmont looks weird in some angles.

Basically, it's two years before THQ discovers that the PS3 actually has 6SPEs available for them to work with and an additional year for them to figure it all out.

Not necessarily. They can use the cheap approach by picking up off-the-shelf hardware for their next console, sort of what MS did with the X360. They can assemble a current-gen console for probably $250 (same price as the current Wii) and compete directly with Sony and MS. The Wii bandwagon will pick this up and it will go on to sell 20 million units in its first year.

Are you allowed to post the emails sent by SCEA? (kind like what The Pirate Bay does)

They care because they need it for feasibility studies and sales projection for their games.

Chuck Norris is full of win! Activision needs to make a Walker Texas Ranger game.

The world will end at December 21, 2012. If the Mayans can't do it, Chuck Norris can.

PS3 outsold the 360 last year.

They saw LBP and decided to jump ship.

EDIT: The 360 has never outsold the PS3 on a yearly basis.
